Why not take advantage of our superb in house dynamometer, located in its own purpose built facility allowing the operator to control both the temperatures of the engine and the ambient climate, ensuring consistency between dyno runs.
Measuring both torque and horsepower with extreme accuracy our dyno can be used to measure loads from as little as just 5bhp to in excess of 600bhp plus.
The dyno itself incorporates the very latest low inertia eddy brake which can be used to apply simulated loads at all engine and road speeds. This allows the engine to be put under a controlled load, extremely useful when simulating road or on-track conditions with wind and rolling resistance.
Another very important feature of the dyno is its weather station, which automatically adjusts the power output readings to compensate for air pressure, temperature and humidity. This allows us to accurately compare engines tested on different days and even in different seasons.
Dynamometer print outs are readily available as is our friendly help and advice to help you understand how the facility works and can be used to measure and tune your engine.
Dynamometer Pricing
Basic Power Run Price £35 inc vat (Special offer through Jan 2007 just £25.00 inc vat)
Takes around 30 minutes and includes three to five power runs once the engine is warm to give you an accurate assessment of your bikes power output, torque and air/fuel ratio.
Power Commander Fitting and setup
Price £299 inc vat
Includes the cost of the Power Commander, fitting and setup. Dyno graphs of bhp/torque/air fuel ratio, one from
the intial power run prior to fitment and setup and a further following completion.
Dynamometer Development Time
£65 per hour plus vat
Faultfinding, ignition and fuel injection system mapping required when an after market exhaust, air filter or power commander has been fitted.
Dynamometer Block booking and daily rates
£350 plus vat a day with a technician (£250 plus vat a day without)
Our dyno facility can be booked on a daily rate with or without a technician present for engine development or just power runs. Useful for clubs interested in having a dyno day or race teams interested in doing their own development and testing.
